The Diary game: [29/04/2026] Starting a new home lesson and grabbing a bite.

Hello guys and welcome my dairy session with yours truly @sharpibrash. Since schools are still on holiday and I can't just sit down idle, I decided to accept a private lesson session. I must say, teaching isn't something you learn, it's something you are born with. There are a lot of teachers out there, but very few can teach. This is not me trying to diminish the efforts of some teachers, but in my over Eight years experience as a secondary school teacher and tutor, I have seen a whole lot. Most people who teach today, do it just because that's what's available to put food on their table, ignoring or neglecting the fact that they're supposed to be moulding the future of the "leaders of tomorrow".

On my way to lesson.

So, here I was going to lesson after having to wait for like 20 minutes to get the access code. I offered the security at the gate my phone whilst I was on call with the parent of the boy I was supposed to take, but he declined stating that their rule states that a call should be placed directly to the gate for access. I got mad at a point because, how on earth is that supposed to be easier when we have tens of people waiting outside and you have just one line? I had to step back for a while and get something chill to calm myself. After some while, the call eventually came and I was granted access inside the estate. If you're familiar with Lekki estates, you'd understand this very well. It can be frustrating, but that's their way of being security conscious which I respect.

With my Student.

This is my student trying to solve a problem I gave to him. One of the first things I do when I encounter a new student,is to give first impression. I come in friendly and approachable but make you understand that I don't take nonsense while teaching. This enhances my teaching and makes the class interactive because my students see me as their friend not their casual friend, but the kind that you're always looking up to learn from them. You understand that right?

Stopped to grab something to eat.

On my way home, I was tired already and I knew I wouldn't be able to cook. I was still contemplating on what to eat when I remembered I had actually been craving a particular shawarma for weeks and thankfully, the venue of my lesson is closer to the place. So, I placed an order online through their app. It was a very easy and quick process to undergo. After registering on their app, you make your order and you can even modify it. I loved that particular feature. You make payments and that's it. My order went through in less than a minute and I was alerted that they'd taken my order.

Collecting my order.

This is me collecting my order and you need to see the joy on my face to finally satisfy my cravings. I'm definitely coming back here because, not only was the process to order and receive the order swift and stress free, their shawarma tasted really good also and it's very affordable
