The Diary Game: A Blessed Sunday—Stew, Scholarship And A Piece of Land(07-12-2025)

As a church girl, I'm concerned with making sure my family goes for worship on Sundays. Though there are other church programs during the week which I do miss but on Sundays, it's a taboo to miss church service in my house. I got ho early and prepared breakfast, I made stew as requested by my children. I dished for the kids and while they were eating, I took my bath. I ate my breakfast with my husband and bath the kids and got them dressed for church.

I had a delightful experience in the presence of God. What captures my heart most was the children's presentation in honour of our pastor to celebrate his birthday. Luckily, they were awarded scholarship by our pastor because of their good performance. I was happy that a year's school fees burden has been taken away from my hubby for my three kids who participated in the presentation. At the close of service, I posed for some pictures before going home.

I got home, made lunch ready and ate before I excused myself from the kids and hubby while watching movie in the parlour to have my rest. When I woke up, the kids were playing and I asked them to bring their home lesson notebook. I engaged them and one fell asleep while the rest continued and gained freedom after doing their assignment. I stepped out with hubby to check a piece of land he's about to buy.

We bought suya on our way back home after we've met with the agent who's in charge of the land and has made an agreement. I was so happy that we were able to achieve one out of the few things we planned as a couple for the year. I made dinner ready, we ate and I took my bath before going to bed. That's my sunday's engagements, bye for now.
