Dairy Game: 07/06/2026 - Thanksgiving And Rest

Welcome to another episode of my Dairy. So today was Thanksgiving Sunday at the campus fellowship I attend in school. It was our last Sunday of the semester and I had to attend. I woke up around 5:30 and quickly started to get ready. I first of all warmed up my leftovers from yesterday then set some water for bathing. It was very cold this morning so I needed a hot bath. I ate and bathed and was soon ready for church. As I was about to leave for church, I saw my neighbor was ready for church too so we walked out together and I made him take this picture of me.

I loved taking my Sunday outfit pictures but most times I couldn't take any pictures because everyone else was scrambling to take pictures after service and the whole place quickly became crowded.

Church was amazing today. I learned about The Heart Of Gratitude. We were encouraged to grateful to God at all times in life no matter what we were going through because it is only with gratitude that we can receive more bigger things from God.

After the sermon, there was a lot of dancing and singing. It was fun and I really loved it. When the Thanksgiving service came to an end, I went home and began chores. Swept the house, washed plates and managed to do laundry. I was glad that it didn't rain today because it was rainy season now and it was raining almost every day here. I was also happy that I've tackled laundry because I planned to start packing my bags for my journey back home for the holidays after the exams. I was not planning to waste any second here

When I was done with my chores I laid down on my bed and started watching one interesting Nollywood series on my phone. I watched about 6 episodes before feeling really sleepy and took a nap. I slept till evening. I woke up hungry and decided to get some fries. But after walking a long distance I didn't see anywhere to get it because most places were closed because it was Sunday. I walked some more before I finally saw a place to get fries and I had to take a picture at the end of my quest for fries.

I got home and ate my fries then settled down to write. After writing I'll start studying because I have an exam tomorrow morning. I hope I write well tomorrow. Wish me luck guys. See you in my next Dairy. Love you.
