Attack on Oman?

Reports circulating in the media and on social platforms claim that after Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi concluded talks in Oman and left satisfied with the discussions between Iran and the United States regarding the Strait of Hormuz, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched drone attacks targeting Oman.

According to these claims, the Omani government reacted strongly by summoning the Iranian ambassador, lodging a formal protest, and handing over an official diplomatic note.

Oman has long played a unique role in the region, often maintaining friendly relations with Iran and serving as a mediator between Tehran and Washington during periods of tension.

At the same time, a statement attributed to U.S. President Donald Trump has been circulating, claiming that an agreement on the Strait of Hormuz had essentially been reached, but shortly after the Iranian delegation departed, the IRGC allegedly resumed attacks.

However, these claims have not been independently verified by reliable international sources. They should therefore be treated with caution until confirmed through official statements or credible news organizations.
