A touching moment at the graduation ceremony
Dear friends, admins, and all community moderators. May we always be under His protection!
A few days ago, on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, our school held a graduation ceremony for the 2025/2026 academic year. The touching moment of the graduation ceremony, which we just held, was a memorable and emotional farewell.
This moment was also filled with tears and hugs between students, teachers, and parents, as well as between students and their friends, who reminisced about the struggles, togetherness, the long journey, and the sweet memories of their education at this school.
Some of the most touching moments from the graduation ceremony at our school a few days ago were:
1. School Attribute Recognition
Several student representatives took the stage to be presented with their elementary school attributes by the principal. This moment signified that our children were no longer attending elementary school and were moving on to higher education.
2. Graduation Medal Presentation
The principal, guided by the 6th grade homeroom teacher, presented graduation medals to all students who were called up one by one to the stage. This graduation medal presentation was a touching moment for our entire school community.
3. Sungkeman Procession
A sacred moment where students apologize and seek blessings from their parents and teachers before they move on to higher education.
4. Greetings with Teachers
This was a touching moment, with tears welling up as students shook hands and thanked the teachers who had guided them over the years. This touching moment was accompanied by sad songs and music.
5. Farewell Speeches and Expressions of Gratitude to Teachers
Another touching moment came when a representative of the graduating students delivered a farewell speech and expressed gratitude to their teachers. This moment moved everyone in attendance, including parents and teachers, to tears.
However, the opening ceremony and the interludes were also filled with other lively moments, such as traditional regional dances, a pencak silat performance by students, a drama performance, and other songs to enliven the graduation ceremony.
Friends, that concludes my presentation for today. I sincerely hope for your suggestions and comments. Please forgive me for any errors in this post. Wassalam.
