The Diary Game: Going To The Market To Shop For Meat And Other Food Items For Christmas Day Celebration ||25-12-2025||

Hello friends, happy boxing day to everyone. Yesterday was fun all through and I won't even exaggerate. I think this is the best Christmas I have ever had in the past 8 years since I left my parents house. When I woke up today, I decided to go to the market so I could shop for Christmas, I went to Itam market as it was their market day.

People were so much in the marketing shopping one thing or the other. The main reason I even went to the market was to be able to buy meat in large quantity. I went to the meat section, because I love using beef to cook my pepper soup. I bought the meet and then I went on to buy few other things I needed for the food.

When I finished shopping, I went back home and then when I got back home, I washed the meat and steamed it before i took it off the fire so that I can cook some other things. Normally, I would've gone out and eat outside like the way I always do but this yesterday, I decided to do the cooking at home and also eat what I cook with my hands.

After cooking the pepper soup, I cooked rice and then made porridge beans with small stew. That's what I felt like eating for my Christmas day celebration. I shared it with my neighbours after cooking and then I took my own and went to my parlour then began to eat.

When I finished eating, I washed the plates and it was time for my afternoon prayers. It's like my ritual that every Christmas day, I have to devote my entire 2pm to prayers and I do stretch it that long because I know how faithful God has been to me and my family.

Talking of family, when I finished the prayers, I took my phone and called my mum, we talked so much at length and then I called my siblings to hear from them. These were very long calls that stretched for a very long period of time.

After the calls, I dropped my phone and went to go and have my rest. I was so tired so I slept till 5pm and after I woke up, I took my bath and wore my clothes before I went out.

I went to my friend's place to say hi since she was busy with her siblings that came to be with her for the Christmas. She offered me food and I ate though I was already filled. After that, I went back home and laid taxi to my house.

It was very late when I came back to my house, so I off my clothes and took my bath before I went to my bed to sleep because I decided to have a time for myself and I couldn't even come online.
