The Diary Game: Saturday Outing/ Making A Day For Myself ||06-12-2025||

I played in an event yesterday and it was so smooth, though the deceased wasn't that old but at least, he was able to raise people in his family who will carry on his name. And according to what I have heard so far, he has trained other people and given them jobs both here in Akwa Ibom State and outside the state. I was called to play in the funeral service and I went there.

I went with my crew members and we set up the sound system and everything that was supposed to be set up. Then after that, we warmed the environment before the church that came to conduct the funeral came and started their thing. Though the beginning part of the event was just a very moody one which is quite understandable.

He is the member of the Apostolic church family so they came in numbers to pay their last respect for him. Here is a picture of him lying in state. The coffin was nice and well constructed but no matter fine a casket is, I will never go in there for any reason or whatsoever when it isn't my time yet.

For this event, since they paid a very huge sum of money, I invited our DJ to come along. It's the first time I am doing it this year, at least for a premium service that's worth the price we called for them. My Dj was doing a nice job and setting the entire place ablaze with his selections.

At some point, the choristers were asked to give their rendition and we paused for them to do so, they gave a very emotional that reminded me of my human nature, I was deeply touched by that rendition. You know, somehow we live this life like we aren't going to go six feet below one day, we fight for things and even harm people just for fleeting things.

When the choir were done with rendition, the coffin was being taken to his final resting place, inside his room. The grave was dug in his room so they took him there and buried him then we were asked to give him 1 minute silence before we began to put the entire people in another level of vibe.

After taking picture of the deceased, I got back to the house after the event, I went to the house and had my bath then ate the little food in the house. The funeral was so fast so I came back by 3pm and rested so that I can go to my shop when I woke up.

When I woke up, I went straight to my shop and stayed with my friend who was attending to customers and then we attended to customers together before I came back to the house to eat and rest in preparation for church on Sunday. I came back and bought rice with pepper soup and ate.

After eating, I went back home straight, bathed again and received the report of the day from my friend before going to bed. Such a nice time I had today guys. Bye for now.
