On this day, my kids where demanding for a spicy rice and salad. So, as a caring Mom, I quickly opt in to satisfy their cravings. I went to the market to purchase all the ingredients needed for the food.
Ingredients Are:
→ Rice
→ Chicken
→ Vegetable oil
→ Fresh pepper
→ Green beans
→ Carrot
→ Red bell pepper
→ Green bell pepper
→ Yellow bell pepper
→ cabbage
→ Sweet corn
→ Red kidney beans
→ Farrows
→ Beet roots
→ Ginger
→ Garlic
→ Onions
→ Spicity
→ Native spices
→ Tumeric
→ Curry
→ Rosemary leaves
→ Seasoning cubes
→ Salt
→ Salad cream
Procedure For Spicy Rice
I care fully kept all the ingredients in place. I opened cans of farrows, sweet corn and baked beans and proceeded to rinsed and set it aside.
I proceeded to washed the other veggies like carrots, cabbage, green beans, red bell pepper, green bell pepper and yellow bell pepper respectively and set it aside.
I proceeded to pound my native spices and set it aside. I washed my fresh pepper and pounded it, I peeled, washed and cut my onions. I peeled, washed my ginger and garlic and pounded it. After the pounding, it set everything aside.
I proceeded to washed my chicken, seasoned with pepper, onions, seasoning cube, salt, cinnamon powder, Curry and a little Rosemary leaves and gave it a steam. After steaming, I strained the stock and set the chicken aside ready to be fried.
I cut my veggies into desired sizes and shapes (carrots, green beans, and all the bell peppers) and proceeded to stir fry it.
After stir frying the veggies, I went ahead to give my chicken a very good fry.
Before now, I had washed my rice and keep. I proceeded to heat my pan, poured in my vegetable oil, allow hot, added my onions stir fry. Added Curry and rosemary leaves to bring out a nice aroma. Added my chicken stock, tumeric powder, added my Spicity, cinnamon powder, ginger and garlic, native spices, seasoning cube and salt. I confirmed the taste, covered the pot and allowed to steam very well.
I added my already washed rice, stirred and covered it to cook properly and for the water to dry off completely and zoomed, my spicy rice was ready. I brought the pot down and I added my stir fry veggies.
Procedure For Salad
I grated my carrots into desired sizes and shapes and proceeded to sliced my cabbage into desired sizes and shapes as well.
I mixed in my carrots, cabbage, sweet corn, farrows, red kidney beans and beer roots and my salad was ready which I enjoyed with my salad cream.
