Hungarians extremist vandalize Romanian embassy in Budaspest

On Friday night(12Jan) a handful of Hungarian extremists vandalized the facade of the Romanian Embassy in Budapest by covering the national emble of Romania with the Székely banner. Romanian Foreign Minister Theodor Melescanu had no public reaction, although we are talking about the Embassy of Romania and the coat of arms of Romania. Also the lack of reaction of Hungarian officials suggests who is behind this action. Only on Monday did the Romanian MFA announce the invitation of the Hungarian ambassador to ask for explanations, a late gesture and rather symbolic, if we think of Hungary's very fast and firm reaction to Mihai Tudose's last Wednesday statement. If such an event happened in Romania, the Romanian ambassador to Budapest would have been convened by the Hungarian Foreign Minister the next day, and the international press agencies would have been filled with Hungarian statements against Romania. But the Romanian Embassy in Budapest was vandalized and no action has yet been taken! I understand that at this moment the status of the Prime Minister of Romania is uncertain because the true leader of the nation, Dragnea, wants to dismantle it by taking advantage of the diplomatic scandal that broke out because of the Hungarians. But this does not mean that the institution of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which represents Romania internationally in relation with the other states, does not have to do its duty! The timid reaction of the Romanian Foreign Ministry to the vandalization of the facade of the Embassy of Romania in Budapest is still a clear sign of weakness. Who is Meleşcanu listening to: Prime Minister Tudose, who sent a firm message to the extremists, even if it used inappropriate words; to Dragnea, who negotiates anything with UDMR to save his skin, or to Viktor Orbán, the prime minister Hungary?
