Scammers collect funds on a public stage ICO Telegram
On the website owned by a certain "Telegram Foundation", there is a fundraising within the framework of the alleged public stage of attracting investors of the ton platform.
As we reported earlier, the sale OF ton tokens in the course of pre-ICO took place behind closed doors, a second similar round is planned, while the public sale of tokens in General, most likely, will not take place.
On Thursday, CoinDesk received a message about sent fake emails on behalf of Telegram, as well as a Twitter account with the username "Telegram ICO (TON)".
A group of scammers, representing a team of the popular messenger, announces the beginning of an" open sale of tokens of the Telegram Open network", during which bitcoin, litecoin and ethers are accepted as payment methods.
"Our efforts to build a better blockchain can not enter into force, if we do not receive the support of an increasing number of participants. In gratitude for your contribution, we will continue to develop this blockchain, giving you more advantages within the blockchain technology," the letter says, with some share of tautology.
How easy it is to calculate, the site was registered on February 12, at about the same time, when there were details of the sale of tokens TON. Be very careful!
