Disability is not just the end of life but a big test of strength and courage. This does not also defines a person's potential or value but it encourages strength for adaptation.

Using the contest tips, I will share my understanding and point of view on this topic (DISABILITY);

Question 1: How do you glance towards the word disability? Describe.

Disability is simply difference in ability or a condition that hinders a person from physical, emotional and mental activities; it can be hindrance to walk, talk, see or think properly.

This can happen due to injury, illness or process of aging. Like I said earlier, it is not the end of life, people who are disabled can also live a happy, successful and fulfilled life.

Question 2: Which disability is more challenging? Physical or mental!

Every disability is challenging, no one is easy to cope with. Both physical and mental condition of disability are challenging in their own way; a person can be mentally disabled with healthy body but experience emotional and mental stress which is actually the opposite of having physical disability.

However, those who are facing physical disability get to enjoy a little bit of empathy, compassion and love from people because their condition is visible and their struggles can easily be seen.

Mental disability is not that visible which is why people get to misunderstood the patient at first sight.

Question 3: How can we encourage those who are going through a disability? Explain!

Waking up daily to reality of suffering with disability is heartbreaking and depressing. Those who are going through this should be loved, respected and accepted.

Encouraging disabled people should come from a place of genuineness and pure love not pity. Understanding them is the first step of making them feel better and welcome.

All round support is another way of providing safe and happy environment for them. Disability shouldn't be a barrier but a unique way of encountering strength and courage in life.

I will invite @ninapenda, @josepha and @mvchacin to join the contest.
