Incredible India Monthly Community Contest for December #2: A Way to Overcome Prejudication!
Hello, amigos. Today, I would like to share my own perspective on the term "prejudication". This is an act that most of us engage in without even knowing. This is because we are most of the time unconscious of the situation and need to comprehend things before judging or creating an impression.

Prejudication is the unfair act of creating a mindset about someone or something before having all the necessary evidence. This can cause ill treatment amongst people in society.
Prejudication is categorically a curse, not a blessing. This is the process of judging or creating an impression before having solidified evidence of a situation, person, or thing. This mostly results in harm rather than good.
It can lead to the following
Unfair treatment of people
Misunderstanding and conflict
Discrimination and injustice
Wrong decisions based on assumptions
Prejudication is an act that often leads to division and suffering in society. When individuals possess the spirit of prejudication in organizations, it causes social violence and makes that organization crumble to its knees.
There was a time when my friend John, Lisa, Abel, and I met after school closure, and immediately, while working together, arguments spread among us about how our friend John had judged the son of their new neighbor before speaking to him, assuming that the boy was not a good boy. Our friend Lisa started saying that she wants to make a similar assumption, and it made her feel isolated. I didn't say that you can judge a book by its cover because the boy in question hasn't even spoken to John at all.
Our friend Abel shared with all the scenarios where prejudication cost him his friendship a year ago, which made his friend lose trust in him. As well discussing about predication, John told us that we're right because he remembered that he's improper way of judging individuals before getting to know them better made our friend Michael angry, after assuming that Michael had stolen Elizabeth notebook, at this point John told us that he will apologize to Michael and walk on his prejudication attitude towards people, I was able to learn from what John experience that prejudication Brings forth division, silences truth, and can also destroy friendships.

I can certainly say that the term prejudication is associated with unconsciousness, this is because prejudication often takes place without conscious awareness. Individuals are capable of coming up with judgments or opinions all of a sudden, mainly because of their past experience, cultural conditioning, or due to the way people behave in society. These judgments usually occur fast and instinctively, making individuals feel that they aren't wrong or biased.
For example, an individual can easily dismiss or suddenly lose trust in another person based on his or her appearance, background, accent, and maybe reputation. It is said that first impressions matter, but you have to say positive things at all times to prevent prejudgment, which explains that prejudgment can take place at the subconscious level.
Basically, while prejudication may seem intentional, it mostly happens unconsciously, making it dangerous because individuals may tend to deny their responsibilities or even fail to correct it unless they have a rethink and become conscious.

We can educate individuals about the bad effects of prejudgment on society and their health by creating awareness and self-reflection, i.e, teaching individuals that they have to rethink things before making judgments. This will enable people to examine themselves and swiftly recognize unconscious prejudgment.
We can also educate individuals on how to prevent prejudgment by open dialogue and respectful conversations, i.e, creating an avenue where people can express themselves and ask questions without fear, helping us have a healthy society without misunderstanding and hatred.
We can also make use of real-life examples and share the stories, case studies, or our various personal experiences, which can make the negative effects of education relatable and touching to the soul. By doing so, individuals can refrain from prejudgment.
And lastly, we have to make sure that individuals are being exposed to different aspects of life, that is, interacting with individuals from different backgrounds and societal values. This will aid in breaking our individual differences and stereotypes. When interacting with people from the rich, poor, and middle classes. We tend to understand that life can't go well with prejudice.
I would like to invite
