How I felt after reading comments on my suggestion post: Good

Two days ago, I shared a post outlining my thoughts on how to select curators. The response was overwhelming, and I took everything with open arms.

Many comments were negative, critical, and at times harsh. Reading them was tough and I won’t pretend it didn’t make me disappointed. But there were also positive voices from people who understood my intention and appreciated my effort, and encouraged me to keep going.

Those few kind words meant more than all the negativity combined. They reminded me why I spoke up in the first place. Despite the criticism, I remain convinced that my proposal has merit. I believe in the value of thoughtful curation and the need for clear, fair selection processes.

So, I’ve made my decision, I will stick to my proposal. I’ll refine it where needed, listen to constructive feedback, but I won’t let fear of judgment silence me. Growth often comes from discomfort, and I’m ready to face it.
