Hey dear friends. I am @elsa-queen. I am so happy to connect with you all. I hope all members of the Steemit community are doing well. As always I am very happy to share my thoughts and experiences with the Incredible India community.

Today I am happy to participate in this beautiful contest and share my thoughts on the topic Significance of Family. I hope you all will like my writing. My sincere thanks to @sduttaskitchen for organizing this wonderful competition.

*The significance of familial influences during childhood cannot be overstated. Share your opinion on it!*

Childhood is a critical and precious period of a person's life in which the foundation of personality is laid, and the role of the family in strengthening this foundation is extremely important. A child first learns from his home environment. A love, guidance and attitude of parents deeply influence a thinking, habits and character of the children. If the home environment is filled with love, respect and understanding. The child grows up with self confidence, compassion and good manners.

On the contrary, if the child experiences inattention or strictness, it can have negative effects on his mind and personality. In fact, family is the first school for a child where he learns important principles like honesty, respect, patience and responsibility. Therefore, it is quite right to say that family training given in childhood not only makes a good person but also lays the foundation for future success.

*Which type of familial culture would you prefer, and what is the rationale behind your preference?*

Family culture is actually the environment in which a person's thinking and character develop. If I had to choose one type of family culture. I would prefer one that is based on love, tolerance and mutual support. I think the most beautiful home is one where there is gentleness in communication, respect despite disagreements and freedom for everyone to speak their mind.

Such a family atmosphere gives peace of mind to a person and also makes him strong. When there is trust and adaptability in the home, a person faces the difficult phases of life with more courage. This is why I love a family culture that not only binds relationships but also brings hearts closer and fills life with happiness.

*Please analyse the advantages and disadvantages associated with various family structures, including joint families, nuclear families, and professional families.*

All families play different roles in society. Every family system has some advantages and also some challenges.

In a joint family

all the members live together. This creates an environment of love, cooperation and mutual support. The guidance and experience of the elders is also beneficial for the younger generation. However personal freedom is sometimes reduced in this system. Also the disagreements may arise due to different views.

A nuclear family

(small family) usually consists of parents and children. In this system there is more freedom and decisions can be made easily. But one of its disadvantages is that other family members are not immediately available to help in difficult times. The children get less companionship from elders.

A professional family

is one where most individuals are engaged in their careers and professional engagements. The advantage of this is that there is more opportunity for financial stability and growth. However, due to busy life, family members are able to give less time to each other, which leads to the fear of creating distance in relationships.

Thus every family system has its advantages and disadvantages, but the real beauty is that the family members live with love, respect and understanding.
