If you look very well, you will see that every child is like a small seed which they plant on the ground. If the soil is good, water available, sun shines, the seed will grow strong. But if the soil is dry or not much care, the seed will suffer. That's how family it is for human life. The way that a child grows at the house can show outside.

Family is the first school which every child attend. Before teacher at the classroom, it's mother and father that teach them how to talk, how to respect, how to behave. If you grow for a house which them always correct you, you will know how to greet elders well, you will share food with your siblings, and you will know that respect is important.

Example: If a small boy grows in a house were his father always encourage him, telling him “my son, you can do it,” that boy will have enough confidence. But if it's a house were his father do always shout saying “you don't have strength to do anything,” the child will fear, and won't believe in himself.

The way you train child inside the house will show outside. So family influence is not a small matter, it shapes a person life forever.

Me, I will prefer nuclear family which a father, mother and children are together. Reason is that nuclear family do give space for father and mother to focus well on their children. But I'll add a little touch o joint family too because they do add wisdom and support.

For Example: Grandparents do tell story for night. Those folktales always carry lesson—like honesty, hard work, respect. If it's only nuclear family, children can miss that kind traditional wisdom. So balance is very important.

Joint Families

Advantages:

• Enough of support system, cousins, uncles, grandparents aand aunties are all around.

• Work is shared, if the mother is busy, aunty can help out.

• Tradition will be strong, and culture won't lost.

Disadvantages:

• Privacy is not there, everybody will be inside one house.

• Decision is hard, too many people would want to talk.

• Money problems can be available a lot, because many mouths are eating.

Nuclear Families

Advantages:

• Privacy is there father and mother can raise the children in their own way.

• Decision is fast, not too many voices.

• Bond between parents and children will be strong.

Disadvantages:

• Support system is small, if parents are busy, children might suffer.

• Culture can fade, because there's not enough elders to pass tradition.

• Honestly children can really feel lonely, because there's no cousins to play with.

The Professional Families

This one is a family which the father and mother are always chasing their career, and too much work.

Advantages:

• Money will be stable, children can get a better school and health care.

• Children will be exposed to modern ideas, ambition too will be strong.

Disadvantages:

• Emotional gap will be there, children might feel neglected.

• Pressure will be there because the children will always be push to succeed to avoid shame.

• Culture will be weak, because at that moment career will be more important than tradition.

There's no family structure that is perfect. Joint family has strong culture but problem is there. Nuclear family has closeness but can be lonely. Professional family has money but sometimes doesn't have time for the children. The main thing is love, discipline and values must be inside any family. Because the truth is that,the way a child takes to grow at the house will follow him for life. Family is the root, and if the root is not strong, the tree won't stand well.
