Incredible India Monthly Contest of March #2: The highest time I watched a movie!

in Incredible India4 days ago

Hello to all users in Incredible India.

This is my opinion for this week contest. If you want to join us, here is the link:

The highest time I watched a movie!.

I invite to @danapalooza, @eudisdiaz and @glorywrites.

Haywire

• Which movie have you seen the highest number of times as of now? Why?

How many times have I seen Haywire? I have no idea. The first scene I saw of the film was when Mallory (Gina Carano) was fleeing across the rooftops of houses and buildings in Dublin and getting rid of the police officers.

They showed it several times a month on the same channel, and every time I sat down to watch it.

• Do you believe in this modern era that this art form still brings excitement to rejuvenate ourselves, besides other art forms? Share your view!

Film is still an art form, but people should stop seeing those who produce it as untouchable gods and see acting for what it is: a normal job, nothing more.

Another bad thing about modern cinema is the political propaganda they try to force down our throats. People watch a movie or series to unwind after work or because of the plot.

Haywire

• Which kind of entertainment do you enjoy the most, films or series? The rationale behind your choice!

I´m a visual person so I enjoy both films and series. If a movie is based on a book of couese they will have to shorten the plot and/or eliminate sections of it. In case they make a series, they´ll have more time to work on every part of the story.

Thanks for reading

Reading your post made me realize that some movies really connect with us, like Haywire became special for you. As you mention the opening action scene, the excitement starts to feel just reading it. Movies like this really make for repeat viewings. Your point is also quite realistic that people watch the film for relaxation and enjoyment, not for a compelling message. This is a balanced and honest opinion. Also your approach to both the movie and the series seems very logical, especially the adaptation of the books.

Me and other people feel sorry that there is no second part of Haywire. I know why I love the movie but I´d like to hear other fans´reasons.

Thanks for coming.
