βιβλίον μαντεία
Hello, everyone.
It has been along time since I have submitted something here.
βιβλίον μαντεία
I've always had the ability to see things in dreams and how they come to pass in reality. People have even accused me of being a witch or a fortune teller, and some have even tried to ask me what I saw so they could figure out how to handle what was coming.
My powers don't work at will. The images, words, and ideas come to me on their own. All I have to do is interpret them.
Besides oneiromancy, I have another way of seeing the future that I conceal much better.
Since I love to read, I almost always have a book in my hand. It's not that I choose a text at random. Sometimes, I'm walking around the house or just relaxing, and suddenly, I feel compelled to go to the book that's calling to me.
The types of texts that reveal what's to come are varied: history, geography, mechanics, language learning, narrative, and poetry of different genres, among others.
I don't know how the process would work without such a diverse range of texts. Just like with the book cipher, the necessary words for sending and/or receiving messages must be printed on the pages.
It's no fun at all to receive news that an accident and hospitalization are imminent, only to have the book that calls me be a botany text.
Two nights ago, I dreamt that a family member died. It was all so vivid and painful that I woke up crying. I didn't tell anyone because I didn't want to sound alarmist or dramatic, even though they trust me.
Shortly after waking up, a book called to me, showing me the exact same future I saw in my dream. I admit I was expecting a variation, a mistake, or something less bad, but the book that called to me was about fishing.
Death doesn't like to be deceived or have its plans ruined.
