Incredible India monthly contest of November #1| Clarity!
Hi Steemit!
You see this thing called clarity ehn, I didn’t really understand how deep it was until life started hitting me in different directions. For the longest time, I just used to move with vibes and whatever came my way. No real direction, no plan just doing things because others were doing it or because it looked like the right thing at the moment. But now? I don’t play with clarity again.
I won’t even lie, being confused is one of the worst feelings ever. You’re doing so many things, yet nothing is working. You wake up tired, overwhelmed, and annoyed because deep down, you know you’re just going in circles. That was me for a while.
Then one day, I sat down and asked myself “What exactly do you want?” That was the beginning of my clarity journey. I stopped trying to please people, I stopped comparing myself, and I stopped saying yes to everything. I started filtering things: friendships, goals, even opportunities. If it wasn’t aligning with what I truly wanted, I left it.

Clarity, for me, is like cleaning a dirty mirror. You don’t realize how blurry your reflection has been until you finally clean it. It shows you where you’re going, who should be in your life, and what really matters. And once you gain that clear picture, trust me, your determination becomes stronger.
Before, I used to give up easily. Small stress, I’m done. But now that I know what I want, I don’t mind starting over, failing, or even being misunderstood. Because I know where I’m headed. That’s how powerful clarity is. It makes you focus. It gives your hard work meaning.
So yes, I believe "clarity is a key part of achieving anything in life."Without it, you’ll be everywhere and nowhere at the same time. And to anyone reading this and feeling stuck breathe, take a pause, and ask yourself what you really want. That answer alone can change everything.
Do I believe clarity helps us achieve our life’s mission? Absolutely. How can you reach your goal if you don’t know what it is? Clarity gives you that exact vision like a GPS for your life. When you’re clear about your goals and values, every step has purpose. It helps you ignore distractions and focus on what matters.
For example, if you want to start a business, clarity helps you decide what kind, who your customers are, and what problems you’re solving. Without clarity, it’s easy to get lost or give up. But when you know your path, even hard days don’t shake you because you remember why you started.
Determination depends on clarity too. When your vision is clear, your drive is stronger. You’re less likely to quit because you can see the prize ahead. It’s like running a race and seeing the finish line it keeps you going. But running in the dark without knowing where to go can make you stop or slow down.
I’ve had times when my determination was low because I wasn’t clear about my purpose. I was trying to please others and lost myself. But when I found clarity, my strength returned and I felt unstoppable.
Now let me be honest clarity doesn’t just come like magic. It takes quiet moments. Sometimes even pain pushes you into it. I remember a time I thought I had everything figured out, but life just humbled me. I was doing so many things at once school, business, trying to maintain friendships, trying to "be there" for everyone. But deep down, I was tired, lost, and unsure of myself.
I started journaling, praying more, and talking less. That helped me to slow down and just breathe. Slowly, things started making sense. Not all at once o, but at least I knew what wasn't for me anymore and sometimes, that’s enough to begin again.
Determination and clarity work hand in hand. Once you’re clear about your goal, determination becomes easier. Even when it gets hard, that vision keeps you going. You remind yourself, “I know why I started,” and you push through. But when there’s no clarity, everything feels like a waste of time.
I’ve had friends ask me, “How do you stay motivated?” Truth is, I’m not always motivated, but being clear about the life I want keeps me moving. There are days I cry, days I want to give up, but I still show up because that picture in my head? It’s clearer now than ever.
So if you’re still trying to figure things out, don’t feel bad. You’re not alone. Take your time. Protect your space. Listen to your own voice. Your clarity will come. And when it does, you’ll be surprised how peaceful and focused you’ll feel.
Till then, just keep showing up even if it’s slow. Clarity doesn’t rush, but when it comes, it stays.
So honestly, that’s just how I see clarity. It’s not about having everything figured out, but at least knowing the direction you're headed. I’m still figuring things out too, but having that little bit of clear vision helps me stay grounded.
Thank you for reading my post!
