Hi friends, I trust you are well. Welcome to my blog. Today I want to share my two cents concerning the topic above. Anyways, I don't know if I'm going to call this a disclaimer...that you shouldn't expect something sophisticated from me.

I'm sure many of the participants who have submitted an entry into this contest have shared a whole lot of sophisticated and informative stuffs. I'm just here to share some simple thoughts. Let's get right in.

How is artificial intelligence influencing human cognition and the broader world? We would appreciate your insights on this matter.

If I get the question above correctly, it means, how does the use of artificial intelligence affect our sense of reasoning and the world at large. No doubt, the introduction of A.I is actually a blessing to humanity however its not completely helpful because it has its negative effect on us the user.

When we totally depend on A.I for the slightest task then we are at a risk of being shallow in our capacity to think and come up with ideas and solutions for our world. The use of A.I can be intoxicating and addictive, this is the side effect of its use. If this is the case then an average person would have this tendency to over depend on A.I since it is at his beck and call, I mean just within his reach, at the snap of his fingers.

So while it looks like it's very beneficial, it should be used with a very high level of caution so the human brain doesn't end up dormant because there is something artificial actively and aggressively competing for its place.

Please provide a comprehensive analysis of the advantages and disadvantages associated with Artificial Intelligence.

Let's consider the pros of A.I

• One very beautiful advantage of A.I is its ability to quickly come up with an idea (though generic) which one can build on. So while you are there engaging your brain to come up with something, just a simple and single command can bring up something with the use of A.I.

• A.I can also solve very complex problems almost instantaneously. It is amazing and this is why people tend to lean on it for almost everything they do on a daily basis.

• A.I can also serve as a bank of knowledge, where you can visit anytime any day to get whatever information you feel like getting. It sure houses the kind of knowledge the human brain can't retain.

•A.I can also assist with repetitive work via automation.

Let's consider the Cons

• A.I is not 100% accurate. This means it can be misleading sometimes because most of the data it fetches also contains some unreliable elements which includes fake facts and figures.

• Over dependence on it can lead to low brain functionality. The brain will not be fully maximized.

• Information, Ideas and solutions from A.I are usually generic. It's not original, it's gotten from available data banks across the world.

• A.I could turn out to be biased because it is built with code which Informs it functionality.

Let's keep it simple with these few points for both the pros and cons. Let's move to the final part guys!

People are relying more on artificial intelligence (AI) instead of using their own intelligence. What do you think about this?

The statement above is exactly the problem we have today. If you follow me from the beginning, you would have read that part where I mentioned that the use of A.I can be addictive and intoxicating. It introduces that subtle mental and physical laziness which many are unaware of.

Relying on A.I is not the best way to use it. Totally suspending your brain and intellect just to use A.I is an abuse already. Am I against its use? Of course not but I'm against the total dependence on A.I. if not A.I would end up replacing many folks because no one will be able to think about something unique enough other than the so-called generic solution that A.I offers.

I think I need to wrap up at this point. I promised not to go very deep on this subject. I really do hope I wasn't really deep. Smiles. Thank you so much for your time.
