Hello friends... It's been a long while, I trust you're all well. It feels good to be back in your faces and I'm super glad I'm doing a beautiful come back with this thoughtful contest.

Special appreciation to the organizer. I'm going to be sharing my thoughts in this contest in line with it guidelines. Kindly sit back and enjoy every bit.

In your opinion, which one is more challenging: achieving success or retaining it? Share your views!

This is actually a beautiful question that needs a thoughtful answer. One who is not carefully will easily jump at picking any of the above but a careful look at the question would help you make informed choice.

To me, I would say retaining success is more challenging. Don't be quick to fault my opion guys just give me a moment and I will explaim why I picked the latter instead.

I want you to take note of the word more challenging in the question above. This means both are challenging but one is more challenging and to me, it is "retaining success". One can set goals and work toward achieving the goals with some level of hard work, focus and dedication.

But trust me, there comes a greater level of hard work, laser focus and unwavering dedication after achieving success. If these are lacking at the point of that instant success, one is bound to experience a decline which might not be sudden but its sure going to be steady because of the illusion that sucess brings.

Maintaining success takes extra energy, it can be likened to being at the top, you need to do more to maintain that top position because there are so many who would like to take you off that position with a greater level of input in terms of dedication, hard work, focus and increased commitment.

This alone would make you not to rest on your oars, rather it will keep you on your toes and help you push for even greater level of success.

What is more significant, enjoying our passion or chasing success? Describe!

Well this is a subtle question but since I'm compelled to pick one from the option above, I would say enjoying ones passion is better when compared to chasing success. The reason is not far fetched, chasing success when passion is lacking would most like end fruitless.

Passion is the drive, the very push you need for success, it help you keep going even when there are no motivation anywhere, just the fun that come with what you do alone can birth success, because success will be a by-product of your passion by default.

If you want to succeed be sure that you become passionate about what you want to succeed at, chasing success and achieving it without passion seems far from possible because every obstacle and challenge you meet on your way to achieving your goal would look like a dead end and discouraging factor for your goal but a passionate person would see such as another opportunity to explore new possibilities in what he already enjoys doing.

What is the definition of achievement according to your perspective?

Achievement is anything you work towards and accomplish. That is the simple definition I can give. People also liken it to success, you won't be wrong to use the word success and achievement interchangeably, it would still function perfectly.

Maybe I need to give a summary of what has been shared so far. Working toward being successful is good and requires a lot of input from you but trust me maintaining success requires much more work to stay afloat.
