How does the weekend carry value in your life routine? Describe!

My weekend is my most cherished part of my week. The reason is not farfetched, I literally work all through the week except on weekends, I mean the weekend is when I have full control of my time, activities and also get to do other personal stuff for myself.

I think you can now understand how valuable it is to me. I would have been totally frustrated if my weekend is also controlled by my work, it therefore means there won't be any time for me to reflect, think and do other personal things

Most of the time I just stay home on weekends sometimes not even to reflect but just to relax and give myself a good treat, having worked all through the week. There's this feeling it gives me when I don't get to pick calls that get me running up and down, neither do I attend to assignment that takes me off my family.

Do you find enjoyment in your weekends, or do you often find it necessary to engage in additional work during this time? We invite you to share your perspective with us.

Yes, I find enjoyment in my weekend, it's that part of the week I do not like to trade. As a matter of fact, I am not the only one who looks forward to the weekend or holidays, my family looks up to it, my wife especially, she loves our company and I'm grateful for that.

You see, I will be selfish if I have to take up additional tasks even on weekends, this will only dampen the bond I'm supposed to solidify with my family and it's exactly what I won't allow to happen. There should be a time when my family has me wholly and exclusively to themselves.

Are there occasions where I had to carry out specific tasks on weekends? Oh yes but they were very important tasks that I could not but fix to avoid issues we could have fixed irrespective of my take and perception about how my weekends should be spent. But this actually happens on rare occasions.

What would be your dream weekend that you love to spend? Share!

My dream weekend would always be to have a nice time with my dear wife, enjoy everything enjoyable, explore everything explorable and keep this memory for eternity. We could decide to have these fun outdoors or decide to stay indoors, all that matters is that we enjoy each other's company.
