The Diary Game | 21 st Dec 2025 | Attended the Nakshatram Pooja on Purva Ashadha Day

We went to the Bodhi Pooja on Poya day. It was Vihan's first time. All was new to him. He liked the bell sounds and making offerings for Buddha. We lit oil lamps with Vihan. Then we walked to the Dhamma hall for prayers.

Vihan prayed like he already knew how. It surprised me. He got a bit bored soon. Still, he stayed till the end.

After Bodhi Pooja, visitors got a treat. Each took home a rice packet and ice cream. Vihan loved it. Now he wants to go to the temple often. He thinks ice cream comes every visit!

We thanked the priest for his kindness. He marked his mother's birthday in a special way.

We left the temple after a nice evening. The visit calmed my mind like therapy.

The rituals left me relaxed and fresh. I plan to go more often. It's a good way to teach Vihan our traditions from a young age.
