A new chapter of life begins (Part-1)
Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.
Life on earth is fleeting. We all have so many worries about this life. We have to leave this world by spending half of our time on education and the other half on job or wealth. In the midst of that, how many new paths come into our lives, how many dreams we have to see. The biggest dream of our worldly life is to find a person close to us and live happily together with him in this world and the hereafter. Which we call in the language of society being tied up in marriage. And I think all our thoughts and work revolve around this marriage or family life. Especially the young society is more worried about marriage. In the last 3 days, I shared some of my personal things in one of my posts. Where you know, I decided to get married after explaining it to my family with a lot of difficulty. In fact, our society considers it a crime to get married during student life without getting a job or success. Which is the crime I am going to commit.
My marriage was finalized in February. That means the wedding day or all the rules and regulations are completed. I was still in Dhaka at that time. My best man and relatives gave their firm word after seeing the girl. Since I was getting married a lot against the family's wishes, I had to bear all the responsibilities or expenses of the wedding. In today's post, I will try to share the shopping I did for the wedding. After the wedding was fixed, I did some shopping for myself and my future wife from Ghazipur. In particular, I bought a Punjabi for myself and a three-piece suit for the future wife.
The wedding was fixed on March 24 after Eid. I left Dhaka on March 5. Since I have to take the responsibility of my own wedding, I went home early to do all the work. I went home and slowly started organizing the work. First, I fixed the water line in the bathroom and kitchen at home. Then I fixed my own room. My future father-in-law bought all the things for my wedding from his house and sent them on video to watch. I mean, the rules of our society are that the groom's things should be given from the girl's house and the girl's things should be given from the groom's house.
Then I started shopping for my wife's wedding with my cousins. I bought about 35 thousand taka worth of things. Since everything was bought before Eid, the price was a little high. But since we needed it, I bought it. I also gradually finished all the shopping for the wedding ceremony. Meanwhile, the decoration work at home started even before Eid. It was quite difficult for me to handle everything single-handedly. In fact, my father was sick, so all the responsibilities were on me.
The moment of decoration at home.
After that, the work started to decrease. But I was going to step into a new path in life, and I was also very nervous. I also needed to buy a cot for my room. Therefore, the day before Eid, one of my cousins went to the market with his elder brother to buy a cot. After buying a cot that I liked, he came home and set it up in the room.
Ongoing…....………
In this way, I gradually completed my own work myself. I hope to share more about marriage in the next post. Stay well and healthy everyone. See you again.
