I thank @solaymann Bhai a lot for deciding such a beautiful topic. Today I will try to discuss with you about the only large and international airport in Bangladesh. Which is a special contribution to the world of transportation.

As the days go by, Bangladesh is learning to stand tall in the world. The name of Bangladesh is spreading in the world through various means, including culture, industry, agriculture, and many other aspects. One of the easiest ways for a country to communicate with another country is by flying. We reach our destination by riding various types of transport. These include buses, trains, auto rickshaws, motorcycles, airplanes, helicopters and many more. Airplanes or planes are gaining popularity among people all over the world as a means of transportation. Especially for long-distance travel, it is becoming more and more popular. For those who travel abroad, the most reliable and only transportation is air. Currently, every country has domestic and international airports. Especially those who do not have financial problems, most of the time they use air transport to reach their destinations. Today I will try to share some information about the only international airport in Bangladesh.

Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport was previously named Dhaka International Airport. Later, considering various aspects, it was named Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. It started its operations in 1980. Although it only transported within the country, it currently transports passengers and goods in the country and abroad, including commercial flights.

Although the airport previously had 2 terminals, a large Terminal-3 is being built for the convenience of passengers. There is also a VIP terminal for high-ranking individuals. There is also a separate place for exchanging commercial goods. There is a huge runway, parking station and other facilities.

It is located in Kurmitola, Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. It is located about 20 kilometers from the capital city. You can easily reach here from any part of the country. Being located in the capital city, other transport services operate here from any part of the country.

As it is the largest and international airport in the country, passengers and people come and go here 24 hours a day, so the most attention is paid to security. The entire area is covered by CCTV cameras and various categories of security forces have been deployed. In addition, security is ensured through various secret systems.

All kinds of facilities are ensured for passengers here. Apart from this, there are various facilities for the common people including car parking, hotels, public toilets, water facilities. WiFi facilities are also provided for passengers.

On the 1st of last month, I went to the airport to bid farewell to my cousin. Nowadays, most people from Bangladesh go abroad for work or livelihood. And the only transportation to go abroad is by plane. Actually, it takes a lot of time to discuss airports in detail, so I have tried to briefly discuss with you another contribution to the world of transportation and the airports whose progress is increasing day by day.
