We do so many things in the pursuit of life. We work day and night just to live a little better with our family and relatives. People start looking for money and food even before the dawn. Some to manage their own business, while others work as subordinates to others. Everyone's goal is to earn the same amount of money. As the daylight increases, this demand increases. There is a kind of restlessness, noise and no sound in the city. Everyone wants only what they want, no one is happy with their position. Everyone wants to rise from higher to higher. But perhaps we forget that worldly life is temporary. A believer should not be so busy with these two-day worldly things. Whenever he goes out on the street, a rickshaw puller calls out, "Where are you going, uncle?" so that he can get rent. A fruit seller will ask, "Where are you going, uncle?", "There are good, sweet fruits." In this way, everyone is busy with their own earning.

Nowadays, the streets of Dhaka city are no longer walking streets; they have now become markets for small traders. They even set up shops on the highways. Their shops create traffic jams on the roads, and it is not possible to walk properly. Although they are here to earn money, it is not right to make money by making people suffer. Sometimes I feel annoyed with them, but later I think, if I don't sell here, how will I earn money, because no one can afford to rent a shop in a place like Dhaka city. However, when people in the world give me a very dishonest opportunity, they sit on my shoulders. Sometimes they keep the price of things so high that it is beyond words, if they only keep the price high, they also give less by weight. Which is really shameful for our society.

Let me tell you a little surprising thing, the food, fruits or things that we don't eat much in our villages or our own areas or can get for free, the prices of those things are sky-high in Dhaka city. Just a few days ago, I saw a fruit seller selling raw mangoes in a van. I was curious and asked, how much does he charge for mangoes, and he said 100 taka per kg. Hearing that, I felt like I fell from the sky. The raw mangoes that are left at home and not eaten are sold for 100 taka per kg here. I left without saying anything after hearing the price. Meanwhile, the vegetables that the farmers of our area give to the people for free are expensive here. What can I do, life is like that, we have to adapt to it. I have been living away from home for almost 7 years for my studies, so I have had a lot of experience in city life.

Now let's talk about transportation. Unlike our area in Dhaka or Gazipur, autos or vans are not available. Here, most of the buses are buses or rickshaws. Rickshaws are for short distances or alleyways. If you go by rickshaw on the same road that takes 10 minutes to walk, you have to pay about 40/50 taka. Even then, many times they don't want to go. You can't talk to the bus drivers. Currently, they have increased the fare of all the buses by showing the fuel crisis. If you can say that the uncle is a student, half the fare is a thousand questions.

Let's now know a little about the cooking aunts of the students' mess. Those who have been in the mess outside during their student life know what a nuisance cooking aunts are, sometimes there is less oil and more salt in cooking, fish is not cleaned properly. Vegetables are not cooked. They cook with vegetables as they wish. Sometimes they put a lot of spices in it and when you say something, they start screaming again. If you ask them to cook more than one dish, they have a heart attack. They make excuses for illness and various other things. They don't come to cook immediately, later they say that there was a problem at home, I was sick and so on. I can't even eat food peacefully due to the aunts' anger. What else can I do, I have to accept it if I don't go home.

Anyway, today I have presented some pictures of city life to you. I hope many of you are also facing these issues. Everyone stay well and healthy. I will see you again with a new post of mine.
