Assalam o alaikum.

It all started when i found the mirror in an old shop near my house.The shop was dusty and quiet and most people avoided it.But something about the mirror caught my attention.It had a dark wooden frame with strange carvings on it. The shopkeeper warned me saying “This mirror is not normal.” I laughed and bought it anyway.I placed the mirror in my bedroom. At first everything seemed fine. It showed my reflection just like any other mirror.But one night something strange happened.I stood in front of it brushing my hair when i noticed something odd. My reflections was not movings exactly like me.I stoped but the reflections kept brushing its hair for a few seconds longers.My heart started beatings fast.

I thought it was just my imagination so i ignored it. But the next night it happened again. This time my reflection smiled at me… but i was not smiling.I stepped back in fear. The room felt colder and i couldn’t take my eyes off the mirror. Days passed and the reflection became more active. It would move on its own sometimes staring at me with dark empty eyes. One night i woke up suddenly and looked at the mirror. My reflection was already awake… watching me.It slowly raised its hand and waved even though i was frozen in fear.

I decided to cover the mirror with a cloth.I thought that would stop everything. But late at night i heard a soft whisper. It sounded like my own voice. “Let me out…” it said. My hands were shaking as i pulled the cloth away.What i saw made me scream.The reflection was no longer copying me. It was standing closer to the glass its face twisted and smiling in a terrifying way.It placed its hand on the mirror and i could see cracks forming on the surface. Suddenly the mirror shattered.I fell back closing my eyes. When i opened them again everything was quiet.The mirror was broken on the floor.I slowly stood up and looked around.That’s when i noticed something horrifying.

I walked to another mirror in my house… and the reflection i saw was not me.

It smiled.

And this time… I couldn’t moved at all.
