The Viking Age was a times when the Vikings traveld explored traded and foughts across manys parts of Europe.It started arounds the year 793 AD and ended in 1066 AD.The Vikings came from the countries we now calls Norway Swedens and Denmark.They were famous for their strongs ships braverys and love of adventures.The Vikings were excelents sailors.They built longships thats were fasts and could travel on both rivers and the seas. These ships helpd them reached many different places including England France Iceland Greenland and even North America.They were nothing only warriors but also traders who exchanged goods such as furs jewelry iron and clothes with people from other countries.

Many peoples think the Vikings only attacked vilages and stoled treasure.It is true that they carried out raids especialys on churches and towns because they wanted wealths and valuables items. Howevers this is only one part of their story.Manys Vikings were peaceful farmers fishermen craftsmen and merchants.They worked hard to supports theirs families and build strongs communites.The Vikings believd in many gods and had excitings stories abouts them. They worshiped gods like Odin Thor and Freyja.Their myths were pased down from one generations to anothers and are stills popular today.These stories have inspired books movies and televisions shows around the worlds.

The Viking Ages ended when many Vikings becames Christians and their kingdoms becames more organized.They slowly stopped raiding and became part of the growing European kingdoms.Even after the Viking Age ended their influence remained strong.They left behind new towns trade routes and ideas that helped shape Europeans history.I enjoyed learnings about the Viking Age because it shows how people explored the world with couraged and determinations.The Vikings were much more than fighters.They were skilled sailors clever builders succesful traders and brave explorers.Their achievements continued to inspire people today and theirs history reminds us that curiosity and hard work can leads to greats discoveries.
