The Small Wins That Shape Our Big Dreams

We tend to look at big goals when trying to figure out what’s been working for us. Landing my dream job, completing my biggest project, achieving a financial milestone… but do I ever actually sit back down with myself and reflect on how I’ve gotten there?

How many times did you read 30-minutes every single day? How many times did you practice this brand-new skill? When was the last time you got out of bed knowing you weren’t feeling particularly motivated?

Focusing solely on huge, life-changing achievements without recognizing the small ones will have you feeling overwhelmed and burnt out because all you’re doing is staring toward the finish line (not celebrating all your little milestones). But you are growing! Each tiny action adds to your bigger goals.

Remember that there's always room for improvement but be proud of all the steps you've taken - big or small!

You have explained the importance of small achievements very well. Often we neglect our small daily efforts in anticipation of big success, even though these small steps go a long way and make a big difference. Learning a little bit every day and continuing to try is also an achievement in itself.

One thing I would like to say is that you have to make your first introduction post in Newcomers Community. After that you can share your posts in our community. Hope you will post your introduction soon and share more of your good writings with us here as well.

Thanks heaps for reading all the way down here & providing some thoughts/feedback.
Happy to hear that we resonate well around the celebration part - great suggestion!
Also appreciate all the advice given about the intro post... getting that sorted out in the Newcomers Community shortly so I can officially join up with everyone here 😊 Wishing you all the best!

@thintnay, me llegó mucho lo que escribiste. En un feed lleno de ruido esto se destaca por su sinceridad.

Dear @elenita
