Wish to Return to Innocent Childhood

Hello Steemit Community!

I guess we all have one piece of our hearts with which we cannot say goodbye forever. It’s Childhood! I remembered the beautiful lyrics of this very touching song when watching the kids play around happily in the rain today and had these nostalgic feelings for my own childhood days.

Unburdened Childhood Days

Childhood is truly simple:
=> Not having an urge to eat or sleep when there was no need for that
=> Being content and happy with little toys we used to have
=> No anxieties regarding money, social status, our struggles ahead of us

Back those days I would run outside to the pouring rains during the monsoon season, jump over mud puddles without shoes… Those times when you are an innocent child with a pure heart, there is nothing more priceless than that!

Responsibilities of Growing Up

However, as we grow up into adulthood:

Freedom was there but now it’s gone..We are tied up with attachments & responsibilities… We can’t roam around here & there when we want…

The way this song goes “As time moves forward your freedom slowly gets faded away…”

Our pure hearts get tainted… And we feel sad about unnecessary regrets…

At such times I only wish if only I could travel back in time to my innocent care free childhood!!
