If I Could Change One Thing in My Community
Hello my dear Steemians,
What is one thing you would like to change or improve in your community?
Any community needs activity in order to exist, that is why the most important thing for community is to make everything to make it interesting for users to stay there.
One thing that I would like to change in the community, I do not have any community where I am attached to. I like many communities that I really enjoy being there, writing posts and communicate. These communities have many contests, that is something that I think very important because that helps to make users to stay and to be active. Of course, having some prizes for contests is one of the good side-effect of posting. The community should have active moderators and contests. Moderators are connecting chain between the users and also the leaders of community.
This change is important to create live in the community. Any empty room will be left empty. Just imagine that you entering a room and will try to do something to create activity. One person is one and soon you will find yourself bored. There is nobody to listen to you or to react to your action. Earlier or later the person will leave it.
If you enter the room and there are some people you immediately start small talk and also slowly will find a company, that could be later on spread to others who also may find it interesting and also enter the room.
The same with the community, just make something attracting the users and there will be more and more people will be joining it.
If you had the opportunity and resources, how would you make this change happen?
In order to make the community active and attractive there you need:
to have few engaged people, who have the same dream of creating the space for such people to be able to keep the users in one community.
to give users change to be creative, organise contests, giving comments and to give some prizes for the contests
to get a group of motivated moderators who will be there for commenting and also with resources to reward moderators for their engagements
