Incredible India Monthly Community Contest for December #2: A Way to Overcome Prejudication!

Hello my dear Steemians,
Today I wanted to write for this contest that is running by @meraindia, here is the link if you are also interested:
Prejudication is another typical human behaviour. Since we are little children we hear from our parents something that we should do or should not. What I remember very well is when I was told not to play with someone and it was because those boys often got involved in some fights with other boys or that they liked to make some tricks or jokes with the neighbours, lie to ring the bell and run away or to tell that someone is there at their cars scratching the colour and in reality it was not. I think such type of boys are often can be seen in any communities and they had a bad reputation. That is the reason why our parents ask to stay away from them.
In my opinion it is not good to have any prejudication towards anyone and try to create our own thoughts and impression. Some people have prejudication and it is not possible to convince them about something different, but that is life.
Often our decisions are based on something that we prefer or what we like or our own stereotypes. For example when a women applies for the vacancy to become a firefighter or policemen and a woman is small fragile. Understandably, the person who is interviewing a woman seeing her immediately will think about how this tiny, fragile woman will be able to carry out a victim of fire out of burning house or to carry the heavy ladder. The same time, in relationship to police personal vacancy seeing a small fragile woman we all think how she should stop a criminal, to catch an armed person. On other hand imagine that this woman is a specialist in Kung Fu or maybe an expert in shooting but also a good jogger who can run and catch up on someone who is trying to escape.
Therefore, we should keep our mind open for anything and to assess person better before making our opinion or decisions.
I think starting from school time we have to teach our children to be open to each other and learn each other better before to make any conclusion. To be patient to others, try to fight stereotypes and also try to convince others that we all have the same chances to become who we want and we have to learn ourselves what we can do and what we can let others to do. Be friendly and supportivve nd if possible to help others to reach their goals.

A very interesting take on prejudication! Your examples were spot on—especially the one about stereotypes in the workplace
