How do you glance towards the two "P's"? Describe!

There are many different meaning of protective and possessive and they could be positive or negative.

When we think about word protective, it always associated for me with parents or grandparents and also children. We automatically feel that the young children are vulnerable and anyone easily could trick them out and misuse their trust. That is why there are many different organisation who are there to protect children. Also when we think about vulnerable people there are elderly people, people with any disability and those who need constant care.

When we look at other word possessive that is always associated for me with a persons who would like to have something and do everything to get something in their possession. Often we see such behaviour in young children both at home and in nursery, when for example two children want to have one toy and start arguing until they reach their goal.

I believe we all have these features of character but the older we get the more control of our emotions, or our relation to different things are.

Share some reasons behind the possessiveness in any relationships!

One of the example of possessiveness in relationship is when for example husband feels that his wife belongs only to him, therefore, they do not like when they wife goes out with her friends to any evening our or to their party. Such kind of people can get very angry and even punish their wife with beating or locking her away, punishing withdrawing food and their freedom. This type of character is very egoistic and possessive and even if initially it is not noticeable then later on it is obvious.

Do you believe both "P's" exist in each relation we are close to? Share some pros and cons behind both "P's"!

I do not think that both protective and possessive character may be found in one person. I think the people either have one or another one. Protective is it always kind and nice person who would like to make people around them happy and make sure that everything is fine. Possessive people they do not think about others but only about their own benefits. Therefore, we all need to pay attention and to try to be positive and protective to others then it will return to you too.
