Thanks for a great post @niharikaa, the sooner the car fleets of the world is electrified the better, the air pollution and the CO2 that the current Gas and Diesel cars spew is not good for any of us.

The fact is that this electric car revolution will come very fast, much faster than the car companies are currently aware of, and that is because once electric starts to really take off and become mainstream, about 3 to 5 years from now, no car buyer would want to buy a new Gas or Diesel car ever again, and the reason for that is if they do buy such a car they will never be able to sell it, the prices of used Gas and Diesel cars will just crash.

There is also a very large risk here, that the car companies continues to not go all in on electric and only make a few such cars, while betting that this electric revolution will not happen this soon, and what will happen then is that the buyers will just stop buying new cars to a large extent if there are not enough electric cars to buy, that scenario will see a very large amount of car companies go bankrupt.
