Capitalism vs Communism - We Need To Come Up With Better
There is something, deeper than the names. Something that has actual meaning.
Capitalism hasn't been capital - ism for a very long time, and Communism has never been about communes. Now is the time to give up these stupid words and actually choose things that work.
We really need to get down to the basics. To choose the pieces that actual work. That actually work with human nature.
To the Communist, we cannot all be alike.
To the Capitalist, we cannot allow people with capital to deny the necessities of life to people who don't have capital.

People are not the same. Some are far better than others.
Any social, political or financial order we create HAS TO deal with the fact that some people are more beautiful Some people are more intelligent. AND some people are more productive. MUCH MORE PRODUCTIVE.
Pareto noticed that 80% of some thing is done by 20% of the people.
80% of the productivity comes from 20% of the people.
80% of science papers come from 20% of the scientists…
And, if we want to live at something better than subsistence (imagine living on 20% of the food) then we have to let these people excel. We have to not stand in their way. And, in fact, we should encourage them if we can.

People are not the same. People have different levels of moral capacity
When people (Collectivists) assume that everyone is the same, they miss the difference in moral capacity. And this is huge.
Some people wouldn't steal, even if their lives depended on doing so.
Others will steal just because just because you looked like you made more "money", and you should share your wealth.
These two people cannot get along. They cannot be in the same group, unless there is some authority that seriously enforce the higher morality.
When you have a group that believe rape is wrong, and another that thinks, if the woman is ready, you should not deny her. With these two groups, one will kill the other. And distance needs to be kept between these two groups
These differences are not able to be bridged. A person is only capable of the level of morality they can get to. And a community can only deal with a few problem cases.
We cannot ignore this essential difference.

People have to be allowed to live
Today, in America, Billy Gatez is allowed to buy up millions of acres of farmland. While many people are denied a home (through economic means)
If someone denied everyone air, like they did on Mars in Total Recall, then people should be appropriately aggravated, and correct that imbalance.
If we were an honest people, we would make sure that new community member had a place to stay. If there is a child born into the community, plans should be underway to make sure they had a place to live when they came of age. Not be kicked out when they turn 18.
Some ideas:
- New adults used to rent rooms above garages… because they were cheap enough to rent with the money that they got from beginner jobs. These two numbers have to be maintained.
- In shop class, all the boys build a small house for themselves to live in. Thus insuring that the young man has some skills, and can maintain their own home.
- The community gets together and build the… it is most often that the community builds a home for a newlywed couple.
We cannot allow the rich to buy up all the land, water or air, and deny it to those who need it. Our current idea of real estate is basically saying that the king gets to own it all.

This is such a hard thing to do, because one system seems to completely contradict the other popular system.
But, what we find is that most people want the same things, it is just that the groups have chosen different ways to make it work, or force it onto the others.
Communists feel that it is just fine to force other people to grow food for them. Although, they can usually be talked into seeing land to grow food on needs to be available to each person.
Likewise, most Capitalists feel that land is an asset, like any other asset, and can be bought and paid for. But this quickly becomes a way of denying someone land they need to live upon. But, what if we changed "ownership" of land to be something like all the land that you are currently maintaining and making better.
We really need to work out what we really want, and a way of each morality level and monetary level to live well.
