Energy: Production, Selling, Transporting, Scarcity… Are All About To Change Drastically

I do not know which is going to die first, the energy sector or the stock market. And, will the order really matter?

Many people bank on electric companies for constant, continuous dividends. This is going to end. There will be much gnashing of teeth.

Imagine if everyone in a city, town, or electric sub-grid went to solar. Well, you don't have to imagine, it has happened in several higher end towns in California. What happens to the energy provider? (it gets messy)

So, imagine everyone in PG&E (Pacific Gas & Electric) all started producing all of their own electricity. What does PG&E do? Will PG&E fold? Will they continue paying dividends? Will they continue collecting money while they provide no electricity?

There is so many moving pieces, and THIS WILL BE WORLD WIDE.

Source of this "magical" electricity?

People have talked a lot about free-energy arriving, and that it will power the world. Most people will see it when they believe it.

Some people believe it will be solar. Some people believe it will be hydrogen, or some other clean burning fuel. Some people believe it will be nuclear.

I would like to wave my hands, and just say it is coming, but so many people will shut down, and then ignore the rest of the article.

So, we will say it is like a small, personal, Thorium reactor. Small enough to be put in a car. Big enough to power your house. And that these things will be mass producible. They will be everywhere.

What happens when everyone produces their own power?

Did you know that the electric companies OWN all of the electrical production in their area of operation? That it is already written into their contracts that solar power will not exceed 10% of the total capacity. And that if the electric company allows you to have solar/wind power, that they can shut it off at any time, for any reason. (usually they say it is for lineman safety)

So, as soon as we start implementing our personal-power-units (PPUs) we will get huge push back from the electric companies. As soon as your property is connected to the grid, they own you.

Have you seen that many schools have installed solar arrays over their parking lots? Do you know that many of these schools now pay more for electricity? Because the contract for them includes that they will buy a certain amount of electricity at a certain price. So, the schools shot themselves in the foot, paying for solar panels, when they could never recoup those costs.

The electric companies are allowed, by contract with the city/county/state to come onto your property and remove the offending energy producer. Your PPU can be confiscated by them. (of course, they are just supposed to disconnect, but that area of the contract is squiffy.) And the electric companies already have plans in place for dealing with too much solar power. Plans easily switch over to PPUs.

So, what happens is that the residents who get their PPUs and start running their own house on one are going to be in a battle with the electric companies. And it will not be pretty.

The electric companies want to stay in power. (all meanings of those words) They want the power to turn on and off your electricity (smart meters) at will, to keep you believing you need them, and need to pay the ever higher prices. The grid breaks down if many people stop using it. There is a maximum amount of power a grid can handle, however there is also a minimum amount (yes, there are HUGE resistors at power substations to dump power through if the draw is too low) and too many people "disconnecting" themselves from the grid is disastrous.

It may come down to a group of people with pitchforks and torches, burning down the power companies. Because the state, and the law, will be behind the power companies staying in power. Even though everyone knows that PPUs are the future, and far cleaner, far more reliable, and the grid is breaking down as we speak.

The people will win

It will be a huge battle, and not really. It will be all over the TVs that PPUs are bad, that they will blow up and kill us all, that they will give out just as we need them, that the electric companies are good (even though they just raised the rates sky high)… Their will be paid for protests against PPUs. Everything you can think of will be thrown at the people.

To bad for them, the people who have been waiting for PPUs, will not be deterred by such propaganda. And they will keep coming back, as they are smacked down. Some will even resort to sabotage to their local grid, so that the power company cannot see that they are using their PPUs.

Imagine one person throwing out their Smart Meter. Ripping it off the wall, and throwing it away. That person would be fined heavily, and might even be arrested. But hundreds of people. Entire city blocks doing so overloads the legal/police systems. The electric companies probably don't have enough Smart Meters on hand to replace them. And angry mobs of residents will intimidate any electric workers from trying any repairs.

T.H.E.Y. have propagandized the people so much to hate "fossil" fuels, that they will find it hard to get the public to go the other way, and accept that power companies are now "good".

The people will win this because the govern-cement will have to go full on dictatorial to stop even a part of the PPUs. And, when they do that, the people will turn more against the govern-cement. At minimum, the elected officials will be thrown out, to be replaced by people who support PPUs, who will them be hamstrung by the legal battles that say that power companies are still in power.

The people who have never liked the power compnies (wanted to go off-grid), will be joined by those who hate "fossil" fuels and also those who hate how much energy rates have gone up. This will be a huge percentage of the people, and that can't be stopped, even by the army.

PPUs will soon be in every home. The power companies, who could have made this transition seamless, will be smoking craters.

The energy sector, as we know it today, will slowly be shut down. The stable stocks in most portfolios will be no more. The transportation of crude will be dropped to a tenth. (we still need plastics and other oil derivatives.) Coal mining will be shut down. (except maybe for steel smelting) Just so much of what was the most stable part of the world's economy will just be gone.

So many investors are tied to the energy sector. And many of these companies will be smoldering craters. Others of these companies will continue being paid by the state, as per contracts of "providing electricity", and so, may still pay dividends, even though the company does nothing.

And all of this is coming, with all of the other turmoil.

  • stock market being shut down because of exposed fraud.
  • the electric grid continuing to decay.
  • Uncivil wars, and sides of, trying to knock out the power.
  • Govern-cement failing because of inflation. The laws say only so much increase in spending.

It seems to me that everyone should welcome PPUs, but it really looks like those behind the power, will fight tooth and nail to stay in power.
