Many Things Are All Leading To unCivil Wars in Cities
Back in the 80s (1980) it was all the fear/rage, that the Ruskies would be nuking all the large cities. People built fall out shelters, or joked about that they don't need to worry, because we'd all be dead. It was just assumed that all major cities would be turned into black glass.
Today, it isn't so dire, but the future of cities is quite clear.
With malls closing down, restaurants going out of business, and immigrants taking over places. Crime increasing and "soft-hearted" career politicians blocking laws that would clean up the streets.
Only those who can't leave will be left in the cities.
I wish i could say that things would be better, but there are too many forces pushing for this.
unCivil War X Cops X Gangs X Immigrants
This is going to be one big mess. The biggest question will be if the military gets involved, and how soon.
Those mother WEFers have plans, but so do the local cops, and the local gangs, and the local politicians. And those plans will run up against the immovable wall, hunger.
I know police officers who have been quietly taking over their towns. buying up the best real estate, often using their muscle to make the current people sell and move. They are just itching for a SHTF even to take over. However, many other groups are thinking the same thing.
None of these groups i have seen have worked out feeding all their people, and keeping the lights on. They must assume that those services will continue. Because if they can't keep those services going, they will not be able to hold their area.
Once people get Hangry, you either have to feed them, ALL, or you have to mow them all down, or you have to be somewhere else, in a bunker, prepared to mow down all who come.
The police will not be there to help. Gangs will only watch their own. If you are not the right skin color, (in certain areas) you will be evicted, and then shot at.
And, i wish this was all, but there will probably also be military road blocks, military curfew, and people being hauled off to FEMA camps. And, there will be people who willing go to the FEMA camps, on the rumor of promise of food.
The city that used to be there, will be gone, never to return. Even if it is over in a week, and the power stays on.
The blue cities
This is one that really bothers me. It appears that dumbocraps are acting kind, being socialists, etc. However, it is an act. When the hammer drops, are the politicians all going to get out just in time, and then the cities are going to be left to kill themselves off?
They have already shrunk the size of the police forces. Gotten criminals used to not be prosecuted. Made things so bad for business owners, that many have left.
The only plan i see working from this is allowing the mobs to level the city, and then buying up all the good properties and rebuilding. They have already done this on small scales. But, after a certain level of the city is destroyed, you cannot rebuild. The things that made it a city are all the interconnected jobs that has kept the city running. And, when they are gone, they gone. It takes two businesses, and multiple people, providing mutual needs to bring it back. That won't happen in a place where the govern-cement hates small business.
One thing that will happen in part, and may happen in full is the utilities all die. The biggest problem is that the people who know how to fix the infrastructure are all old. New blood is not coming. AND most people who work with their hands are conservatives (or anarchists) and they are being systematically pushed out of blue cities. So, when the workers are needed to repair what was broken there won't be enough men. There is barely enough men to just keep up maintenance.
If those mother WEFers want to do anything besides let the people destroy their city, and then swoop in and buy it all up, then i hope they do it soon.
How do you let go?
So many people have dreams of owning a McMansion, on the hill. Of driving an expensive car and getting recognition like you are a celebrity. They want to go to fine dining. They want to partake in the night life.
Most people just go home from their job and turn on the TV and veg.
The night life is (was) there and few partook of it.
It is really just a dream. A desire to be a card-ass-ian. At least a minor celebrity, or something to impress your friends.
Now the nightlife is almost gone. The restaurants are getting few. The roads are bad for your fancy car.
Soon, you may have a visitors in black ski masks every day, even in your gated community. That McMansion will no longer be safe. And its resale value will plummet as the boomers dump their houses on the market. Further, if your house doesn't have a greenhouse, and lots of space to grow food, it is a death trap.
Really think about why your are living in a city. So many people i talk to are held in place by "the dream", that is getting further and further away.
Think about your current life, in your current house, and what it will be like with no grocery store and no police.
In America, we are going to see lots of unCivil War, and most of that will be in cities. There are places out in the country where they may never see nothin. Places in the Appalachias where the little towns have forgotten that the rest of the world exists.
On the other side, "Escape From New York" may be a documentary. If you need to leave, you can't. There is no way off the island, unless by water.
The Amish may notice that there are less police harassing them, and nothing else. Or they get a whole bunch of new-Amish who want to eat, and will help grow food for it.
The biggest problem in predicting the future is that there are so many people, with so many plans, to take over places, that it just become a mess trying to figure out what will happen.
And the biggest problems might not be the unCivil War, it could be hurricanes, floods, and freezing.
Anyway, be sure to store enough food to last you a month without going to the store.
