The Future of Science
In a few years (i am ever optimistic, but it may well be decades) we will see new inventions, new engineering and new science.
The Modern Materialistic Science that they teach in all the school will run into something it can't handle. Instead of small truths that most people can't grok, that are buried by calling upon the all-mighty Einstein, we are going to see dozens, then hundreds of inventions that each put a fork into Modern Materialistic Science.
- They say gravity is an effect of mass. We will be dealing with massless objects.
- They say that nothing can travel faster than the speed of light. We will be dealing with almost instantaneous communication across the galaxy.
- They say that perpetual motion devices can't exist. Well, here is one. Here is another one. Here is one that powers houses. Here is one that powers your car, strike that, here is one that powers your FLYING car.
- They say that humans evolved from (proto) apes. Well, home DNA splicing kits allows children to create new lifeforms. And what we learn will throw out Anthropology.
- They say that the reason aliens have never visited is because of the speed limit of "light speed". We are going to find that this is wrong, but also that aliens have been here a long time watching us. Hoping we would learn to not shoot at everything that moves.
- They say we have learned most of what is available to learn. We will find that we are almost blind. The stuff that we haven't seen is huge, compared to the stuff we see or kinda know about (like radio waves).
- They say that the universe was formed from a "Big Bang". We will find that the "Big Bang" is completely wrong, as we watch a galaxy form from "nothingness". (and then we will find out how much stuff is in nothingness.
It will literally be one punch after another. Modern Materialistic Science will try to bury them, but they will get overwhelmed by two things. The shear number of new inventions, and that the new sciences, the new understandings of science will be VERY simple. Available to almost anyone who wants to study it.
We will no longer have convoluted maths like in the Theory of Relativity. The formulas we will work out will be very simple. Not that the universe is simple, the rules are simple. A lot of simplicity still adds up to quite some complexity. (or simplex)

The Electric Universe Model
This is a good example of what is to come. The Electric Universe Model explains soooo much of what we see and measure. And it requires no fancy, convoluted formulas. It has no need for imaginary things like "dark matter" or "dark energy"
So, its better (at describing what we are witnessing), easier (quite simple formulas) and doesn't require unicorn particles (yes, we made up particles to explain "science" in order to keep the everything is a particle paradigm).
If there was a 'death match' the Electric Universe Model and our current Particle based Model, Electric Universe Model wins hands down. But that is not how people learn. They go to school, they learn to believe the teacher, the learn to not question the teacher. So, it is a challenge to get a student of Modern Materialistic Science to even look at alternatives. Comparisons only happen on the fringes. non-scientists who are no afraid to look into other possibilities (The ivory tower hierophants can black ball you and make sure your papers never get published)
The coming inventions will make a lot of people into scientists. In their curiosity to find out about these new things, they will also be exposed to new sciences, and then, we might have a death match.

Quantum Physics
Quantum Physics gets FAR easier if you get rid of the grit mentality. They wave/particle duality is frustrating and stupid. Understanding of this phenomena becomes exceedingly simple when we put it into an Aether framework. (calling something a wave is silly, have you ever gone to the beach and gotten a bucket of wave? A wave is an effect in/through a media) And, once we get back to Aether theories, we will start making sense of Quantum Physics.
The existence of entangled particles should have destroyed Einstein's stolen Theory of Relativity. And the new, fun, toy that quantum physicists have, particles that are in more than one place at the same time will make Materialist's cry.
And the double slit experiment (and others) that show consciousness has an affect on matter. The one things Modern Materialistic Science cannot deal with. That consciousness exists, and affects the world around it. Which opens the door to God, or at least an intelligent designer.

Metaphysics
What a weird header to include in a post about science.
However, it will be found, and it will seem obvious afterwards, that physics and metaphysics should never have been separated.
It will be seen that consciousness is first, and matter is second. Not just that someone observing changes a photon from making a wave pattern to a single point of light, but without consciousness, there is nothing there. Yes, reality doesn't exist.
This is the opposite of what Modern Materialistic Scientists want to exist. Opposite of what is written in their text books. Opposite of the "Scientific Method", which assumes that matter exists separate from consciousness. That, there is an out-there to observe. They believe that there is a permanent and fixed past, and a probabilistic future that could be fully known if only we could gather enough information. Sorry materialists, none of this exists.
In the future we will have to include location and other mundane states, but also how the observers are feeling and their expectations for the experiment.

So many things happen, in such rapid succession that Modern Materialistic Science is just buried in facts. They will try to bury these facts like they have done before, but their will be too many. AND!!! there will be a lot of youth who just don't believe the old teachings. Just discard it out of hand.
It is like the universe is giving us a way to break out of the old chains, while also destroying the old ivory towers that created those chains.
People of the future will look back on this "science" like how we view the use of leaches in medicine.
And for all those people who love to tinker and build, and see how things work, this coming time is going to be incredible. Flying cars, growing giant vegetables organically, continuous non-polluting energy, and getting out of the cities into nature which is far more healthy for the human body. So many new areas to study.
