This video was taken in Miller Park, Located in Sacramento California. The time was about 9:30 pm. we were just wrapping up our day and heading off to go to sleep in our vehicle just outside the parks entrance as the park closed at sunset. This was a common location for Homeless families with vehicles. The organization throwing this car show fundraiser decided to fill the dumpster to overflowing capacity and then to dump there hardwood briquettes and charcoal dumped right next to a drum of the leftover cooking oil. This was a very volatile fire that could have hurt someone if they didn't know what it was. Life is a bit better now that the days of sleeping in the vehicle have passed. Just wanted to share a memory of a great video shot at a time in my life where the food thrown away in the dumpster would have feed all the homeless in the park for tow weeks. It was disgusting the amount of good cooked and raw food just tossed out. I was not about to eat from the garbage but it did feed many. My question is why put in the garbage, so much food when there is clearly a homeless epidemic. Very sad really!
