Hummingbird hawk-moth at my mothers lavender
My mother has some nice lavender growing in her garden and in Summer there are a lot of insects and bees visiting the lavender. The hummingbird hawk-moth is one of the regular visitors that feeds of the nice nectar of the plant. It is flying like a hummingbird and quickly visiting a lot of different blossoms to feed on its nectar. I took several pictures of butterflies, bees and other insects at the lavender since it is really a magnet for insects. If I find a nice Spot for lavender in my garden, I also want to plant some here. I love how it attracts all the insects and It is also a good repellant for clothes moths in the cupboard. Funny how the cloth moths hate lavender but the hummingbird hawk-moth is feeding from its blossom
