Baron the beauty of our garden, ( Euthalia aconthea)

I hope you are all well and enjoying quality time with your loved ones.

During our stay in India, we have been quite busy, but we still make time to connect with nature, take beach walks, tend to our garden, and visit our wildlife friends, including the insects.

One day, while I was sweeping our front yard, a familiar visitor appeared after a long time. It circled around me for a bit before starting to search for a place to settle down. In that moment, I grabbed my camera to take photos of it, and it began posing for me.

This lovely insect is the Euthalia aconthea, commonly known as the common baron butterfly. Very simple and very calm. Looking at it, we also felt very calm and peaceful.
