5 Inpirational Movies you must watch
I've watched a lot of movies till date from different genres. But when it comes to inspirational movies there are the 5 movies that really inspired me and out of all the inspirational movies I've watched.
5. October Sky
October sky is a true movie based on life of Homer Hickam, who is born in a small town Coalwood, West Virginia. Coal mining is the only job option that people really have in the town. But, Homer is inspired by the launch of Sputnik and he goes around to build a small rocket by the help of his friends.
This movie really shows that no matter how small you are you can always dream big and achieve it. All you have to do is believe and have that positive mindset.
4. Spare Parts
This movie is about students from Latino High School and is also based on true story. Oscar Vazquez who is rejected to enlist in US Army so he decides to take part in Underwater Robot Competition looking for another option to do something successful in his life. He gathers a team and with help of his teacher Fredi Cameron they are able to take part in the competition and live their dream.
The movie shows you situation can be bad sometimes and things don't go the way you planned. But have the courage and will and never give up. If life gives you lemons make lemonade out of it.
3. Coach Carter
Coach Carter is a movie based on real life story of Ken Carter a former student of Richmond High School. Ken Carter joins Richmond as a basketball coach and he teaches the young players to play better basketball. Not just that he change their lives and the mentality of other people about Basketball and Student life.
The movie teaches you that you don't have to follow the standards set by others. You have a power to change the standards for a better good. A huge fire is started by a small spark and you can be that spark.
2. Forrest Gump
Out of the 5, Forrest Gump is the only inspirational movie that is not based on true story. The story is about a character named Forrest Gump who is shown as a dumb character with his IQ level being below average. But that doesn't stop him from doing great things and achieve big. He joins Army, plays Ping Pong, runs a Marathon and he becomes best at what he does.
The movie teaches with hard work and dedication you can achieve anything. No matter if the circumstances are against you or the odds of winning is less.
1. Pursuit of Happyness
This movie is based on true story of Chris Gardner an american investor, stock broker and philanthropist. Chris gets himself into a bad business as the investment turns out to be bad. He separates from his wife and takes his son and go on with his life. He enlists as an intern in as a stock broker intern in a firm. With less money and a son to look after he goes through really hard times but he doesn't give up and finally he find a part of happyness.
This movie is on number 1 of my list because there is a lot to learn from this movie. The movie is directed so well and shows real life problems and struggles. Will Smith has acted very well in this movie and the last part it will make you cry in a good way. I've watched this movie 8 times and 8 times I've cried. I suggest you to watch all these movies and specially Pursuit of Happyness.
