I've been owning since the early 2000s, but with the recent government regulations, it's impossible anymore. (Funny thing is, my monthly rent is high enough to cover a mortgage for the same type of apartment, but banks aren't allowed to grant a loan to me).

On the other hand, I'm actually kind of looking forward to living with the financial freedom of having a solid bank account balance!
