How Crypto Currencies Saved my life.

Hi my name is Kei, I am 27 years old.

Long story short, crypto currencies saved my life.

Basically I am an American currently living in Japan at the moment. Early this year I had been working out in the gym, and working two jobs trying to better myself. I was mentally driven for months trying to achieve everything I could. Things were going well and I was in the best shape of my life until I learned my mother had been diagnosed with ALS a fatal degenerative disease back in the states.

This discovery destroyed me. I basically lost all willpower overnight. I stopped working out. I stopped caring about my health, I stopped caring about meeting friends, I stopped caring about work, I stopped caring about everything. I was in a deep depression. No will to achieve anything. I decided I would just move home to the states and help my Mom in my small hometown with absolutely no prospects for my own life. I even thought about taking my own life...Because aside from a few siblings I will have barely in any family left. Many have past or I simply do not have a relationship with some like my father. That was a terrifying thought.

Then one day a few months back I randomly found an article talking about this years crypto boom. I became incredibly fascinated. I have degree in Finance, and already knew about bitcoin, litecoin and doge for example. But I hadn't payed any attention to them in years.

Reading more and more I learned about blockchain and the possibilities it holds for the future. Ethereum, Bitcoin , NEO , Ubiq. There are so many tokens and blockchains....This is a revolution for us the people.

Seeing the possibility crypto holds for changing the world it gave me hope that this horrible centralized fiat system will one day end and we can all just trust each other and live in peace. Perhaps blockchain will even revolutionize the medical field and help to eliminate horrible diseases like ALS. Who knows.

But I have decided to get deeper into the crypto world by studying the technology and working in the field when I come back to the states in the coming months while helping my mother. I have renewed motivation to achieve things, and I want to help the world understand blockchain and what it can do to free us from our current oppressive systems.
