Introduction

I’m a pretty philosophical person I guess so I think about the events in my life that helped shape and forge me into the person I am today. Some people take too much from failures and successes. I take everything as a learning experience and use past successes or failures as data to make me help decisions in the future.
Grandfather

Growing up on Long Island, NY i was fortunate being born into a family that had money. My grandfather was born in Coney Island, Brooklyn and came from touring the country working in the circus, to a millionaire health insurance salesman on Long Island.

Seeing how he was able to become something from nothing always inspired me to do the same. I’ve gotten to where i’m at today without my family’s money and that makes me happier than free money ever could.
Don’t get me wrong though, it has always been very relieving to know that if anything was to ever happen that I needed help financially, it would be there. I couldn’t imagine living with the pressure of not having somebody that could potentially help you stand up if you got knocked down.

I’m going to be doing these whenever I have thoughts about things that have had a noticeable impact on my personality/values. Just recording my thoughts for everyone else to read.
