Go-Kazoku: Welcome To The Family

in #introduceyourself7 years ago (edited)

👋🏻👋🏻 Hello Steemit community! 👋🏻👋🏻

Who's who from left to right: Chongor, Natsumi (who's dating Chongor), and Jordan.

Who are we?

We are Chongor and Jordan, two friends who have been with each other through thick and thin. We’ve always had a passion for all things audio and more recently the video side of things. We find that pictures and videos can speak a thousand words, but sometimes we need to add a few extra written ones along the way.

Now what the heck is this “Go-Kazoku”?

We figured you might ask this. Our recent trip to Japan was an eye opener for us. A completely new culture to experience including a new language. One of our many takeaways from the Japanese language was the word kazoku which means family. Go-kazoku loosely translates to another’s family which we feel is a fitting name for our page since we're pretty much family at this point. High school graduations turned college graduations, breakups and beyond.

What brings us here?

Our mutual friend's neighbor actually told us about DTube and from there that we discovered Steemit. We're both excited for the future of this blossoming community as well as the cryptocurrency and technology space.

A little bit of fun in a Japanese arcade as well as the Subway.

What’s to come from us?

We’ve amassed a huge library of photos, videos, and stories that we can’t wait to share. Expect mouth watering food, epic adventures, and a look inside our heads as we experienced them.

Stay tuned.

We've been browsing around @dtube and are looking forwarding to putting up our first video. Thanks again!

@gokasoku Welcome to steemit, I wish you a lot of successes.
I can understand your feelings about Japan culture, I visited Japan two times, including to Tokyo; I really enjoyed everything, but technology and the respectful of the population, are amazing.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Japan was life changing for both of us.

The country as a whole is super respectful and safe and the food was some of the best we’ve ever had. Gotta make another visit over there soon!

Hello @gokazoku The same happened to me with theirs food.
Just going to take language classes, before to visits it again.

@idestroy We were lucky enough to travel with Natsumi who can speak fluent Japanese. Really helps especially when you like to travel off the beaten path.

@gokazoku Yes, it is the best way. I just did with a very close person, she speaks fluently Japanese and English; for that reason was easy to path to everything, and has family there. We did enjoy food and family too.

Welcome to steem.... Have fun and a lot of voteups, resteems and followers…

Thanks Richard. How did you like the gifs & pictures?
