By the way, you might want to add some kind of a verification for people to know that it is really you (to avoid identity theft), like posting info about joining steemit on some of your other social media profiles.
I agree with @gtg I just recently joined and hadn't taken that into account, but posted that I found a better place than Reddit on my social media. So I am covered. Thanks for the tip for those who don't know.
