Hi Steemit!
So here I am, after much procrastination and self-doubt, I have decided to #introducemyself to the Steemit community.
I am from Adelaide, Australia! Very proud to be from this small city and I know there is already a strong Adelaide presence on Steemit. @mattclarke & @o07 are responsible for bringing me here and sparking my interest so I have them to thank.
I recently married my best friend and the love of my life Emily in New York and I will post more about that in the coming days. Here are some shots from the day:
I have many obsessions and interests and I intend on contributing to the community in a wide range of different topics.
I collect sneakers and baseball caps. I sing and love music. I am interested in history and philosophy and what makes us tick as humans.
I am not a "hows the weather" kind of person. When I engage in conversation I want it to mean something and that also applies to Steemit.
I will do my best to post content that will be engaging to the community and I love the idea that I might be able to learn from others and them from me.
In a world where people are placed into categories, I think we should all have the freedom to be many things.
I am excited to express myself through this platform and I hope I am able to make some great friends along the way.

I'm eagerly awaiting the 'Communities' update I keep hearing about.
I'll start a mallsballer one, and just add everyone into that; until then I'm going on memory, which isn't fantastic.

What's the communities update? I haven't heard anything about it.

It also took me lots of procrastination before I finally wrote an article here in Steemit. And I am still working with that. *lol
Analysis paralysis. I blame legacy social media. So many trolls, you click a notification, and don't know if you're about to step into a torrent of abuse.
So much better here; even if it takes a while to adjust :)

Yes Yes!! I agree with that LOL. Day by day I always thought of what topic I should share on STEEMIT, but I end up with nothing.

I'm curious though, do you sing about sneakers and baseball caps or about philosophy? Do you have any plans of putting anything onto DSound?

Haha I do not sing about sneakers but maybe some philosophy.
No plans to put anything on DSound at this stage but I have been looking into the platform.
