Bitcoin is money. Bitcoin is a kind of digital money but is not the same as digital dollars or digital pounds. Bitcoin is used as money and is a blockchain. Like Steemit.com is built on the Steem blockchain. Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency which uses the art and science of cryptography.
