Howdy, firstly, I’d like to take out the guilt in my heart. Its my first time here and honestly, I didn’t get into SteemIt because I wanted to contribute or grow the community. I got in because I heard it’s a cool and very easy way to make cash, Yes!!! I am totally getting into this thing. Then I realized, Oh snap 😢, not what I expected. I was thinking, it was going to be the get rich quick kinda thing where you just click and the money just gets in, but nahh, it wasn’t so, it looked really complex for me which made me sad (obviously, this is because of the motive I had on). So what is this? ICE sure didn’t sound like what I am seeing here. Is this some kind of a blog or what? Totally disappointed, I was going to quit. Wait!!! Did you even try YouTube dummy? of course 😊, thanks brian (my brain), I said to myself. I got into YouTube, hopefully to find something to keep me here, to my greatest surprise, I found out that this is more than making money ![Get started with SteemIt]

, it is a community, oh crap!!! 😯, I totally would have missed out on this one, silly me.

Now am here, I am definitely going to make this very beneficial for me and the community. So, allow me introduce myself, I am Joshua Enyi-Christopher but I prefer being called Chris Josh. I am a Nigerian and a Tech enthusiast. I love networking computers, I code but am not a fan, and I’d always choose the console over the IDE. I love forex trading (I have been saying that for 2 years now, still I am not dedicated 😑) good thing SteemIt got my back. And oh yeah, I have got the eye for photography, I would be posting some of my pictures in the future, am almost certain you all are going to like it. Honestly, am still finding myself, hopefully I this community would help me achieve that. In conclusion, expect tech stuff and photography from me.

Keep your passwords safe: Unlike conventional sites, Steemit has 4 types of passwords. Each offers varying degrees of access to your account, so know where and when to use each of them. Also, make sure to keep them all safe and secure.
Get Steem rewards: When writing a post, you'll have the option to choose how to receive your reward: "Default 50%/50%" or "Power Up 100%". As of this moment, choosing Default 50%/50% is the better option. But this can change over time. Check our post to know more.
Upvote wisely: When upvoting, wait at least 30 minutes after the post is published to maximize your curation reward. Also, make sure not to upvote too much too fast so as not to drain your voting power.
Know your Steem, Steem Dollars and Steem Power: Steem and Steem Dollars are the 2 main currencies here. Convert and power up more Steem into Steem Power so you can have higher values on your upvotes.

Get rich or die trying 😉

Nothing is free, nothing is that easy. Quick scheme for getting rich is hardly that simple, my friend, otherwise money would have no value, I believe. But dont be despaired, keep trying, you will get there eventually. Persistent hardwork is the key.
