What's up Steemers?!

My name is Kieran and I am going to tell you about some stuff that I like. If this bores you and you'd like to leave, I cannot blame you - have a nice day!

For those kind enough to keep reading, the title explains a lot - but since there are some who will ask, or secretly wonder, here's a quick rundown:

Powerlifting

I have a 620 deadlift, 520 squat, 285 bench (I'm working on it) = 1425 pound total at 183 pounds bodyweight. If none of that makes sense to you, basically I like to lift a heavy bar using different muscles in my body. I'm kinda good at the deadlift one (pick a bar up off the floor). Weird to most, I know, but it's addictively fun for me.

You can decide this for yourself. Warning: most of my jokes are recycled from Curb Your Enthusiasm, my favorite TV show.

Sports-Obsessed

I am a lifelong San Diego Chargers fan who watches far more hours of football (~30 a week) than he should, a former high school basketball player and avid fan of the game, and a very mediocre golfer who continues to waste money pretending he might become good one day. If you claim to be a bigger fan of LaDainian Tomlinson than me, you are likely incorrect.

Data-Science

I am a senior studying Computer Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. I am particularly interested in machine learning and data science, and have extensive experience data mining for applications in sports (predictive analysis, player evaluation and historical comparisons).

Here's our SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition team at Design Weekend in Texas (I work on software/data analysis). We made it through to the competition weekend this fall!

Other

• I am fascinated with quantum theory and particle physics - I usually read at least one physics book a month
• I am a big supporter of bitcoin and steem (obviously)
• I love cereal (cinnamon toast crunch and reese's puffs are my favorite)
• Every year I evaluate the top 300 college football prospects declaring for the NFL draft (I have no life)
• I cannot roll my r's - I REALLY wish I could say "churrrrrrro"
